Nothing to say to describe it

Only music with the feelings inside it

There in the wordless cords

Freely flows the symphony

Through it runs the melody

That show what words just cannot say

That speaks in such a different way

Why won’t you hear my songs for you

In them I speak my feelings true

But never will you hear my songs

When to another your heart belongs

I wrote this poem for a guy I really like.  I wrote it when he still had a girlfriend, but luckily that time is past.  For those who want to know, we’re somewhere inbetween acquaintances and friends.  We’re starting to chat a little more and I’m glad about that.

washed away by the waves

insignificant grains of sand

passing lonely days

The low crashes in coastal nights

The doom rolling in on all

One grain alone between millions

Millions who know not this one

power that is so seductive

Making you productive

for its master

The dark hair and full red lips

of the sword wielding geisha

slicing up her victims

into sushi-sized pieces

She wields her sword with power

she seduces you with her skill

she weakens even the strongest will

’till you are putty in her hands

She’s so seductive: it’s sin

In LO we recently had to say what kind of tree we think we are.  I had a lot of trouble with this, because firstly I don’t really know many different kinds of trees and secondly I don’t think there is a tree like me.  I could pick any tree and in it I could find things that remind me of myself, but no tree would represent everything about me and every tree has something about it that would not coincide with me. 

This made me realise once again exactly how unique each and every one of God’s creations are.  It also brought to mind an essay I wrote in which I compared my family to trees.  It was easier to find trees like them, because I only had to find trees that fit my perception of them and not the whole of them.  Also I concentrated on depicting their good qualities.  In the end those descriptions of them were also lacking.

I don’t think you can ever know anyone completely, but that is the exciting part.  You can know someone for ages and they can still surprise you sometimes.

This is just to say hi and to apologise about the spelling mistake in the blog address (actually it was more of a typing error)  . It’s very ironic, because I’m always the one preaching to my friends about their spelling and about proof reading things they have written.  I can just say that I feel very blond at this stage and I’ve tried to find a way to correct it, but there just isn’t one!
